Sortfix Launches Ipad Application
SortFix (free) is an iPad search engine featuring visual sorting, allowing one to conduct refined search queries and in the process receive more precise results.
The iPad version has been available for just over a week now on iTunes. The application is free. In the company's search for best user experience, Flash was chosen as the medium through which users engaged Sortfix on their browser, this allowed the natural dragging and dropping of "power" words on screen. Since Flash is not available on the iPad the company developed a native application from scratch. "Another great benefit of Sortfix on the iPad" explained Mr. Brasky, "is that the limitations of the touch keyboard are completely bypassed when a user can just drag and drop key terms into place with the touch of a finger."
